ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Treasury function in Australia to support key Treasury activities as we continue to expand our product services and presence. As part of Treasury, you will be responsible for assessing the capital and liquidity position of our Australia entity, as well as net interest income and market risk profiles (including FX, interest rate risks and credit risk) the company is exposed to. You will also own various Treasury procedures and work with the technology teams to make any necessary enhancements to reports processes.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Further enhance and build liquidity management, capital management, FTP and IRRBB frameworks
Managing Australia capital and liquidity plans
Understand and interpret regulatory requirements in relation to safeguarding
Leading on capital and liquidity requirements
Maintain up-to date knowledge and understanding of liquidity and market risk management
Nostro, money market and securities portfolio management necessary for liquidity purposes (initiation and execution of payments)
WHAT SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
5-10+ years of Treasury or related experience
Solid understanding of Australian banking regulations
A track record of contributing analysis and explaining decisions to senior management
Strong understanding of Treasury concepts
