ABOUT THE TEAM

Regulatory Compliance is a key team that ensures Revolut’s products and processes meet the wording and spirit of regulatory requirements, then translate this into good customer outcomes. Regulatory Compliance also facilitates open and transparent relationships with our regulators.

The Regulatory Compliance team brings Revolut’s commitment to improving all aspects of finance to risk management. We are far more data-led than similar functions within other companies; our team has both a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and also the ability to find solutions and carry out testing in a purely digital environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Regulatory Compliance Manager will support the Head of Regulatory Compliance (Australia) in the management of key compliance risks including but not limited to:

 Conduct Risk
 Customer treatment and vulnerable customers
 Financial Promotions
 Whistleblowing
 Conflicts of Interest
 Modern-Slavery
 Anti-bribery and Corruption and
 Regulatory Reporting

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

In accordance with the Group Compliance Plan (the Plan), there are three key activities the Regulatory Compliance Manager will contribute to that are performed in line with the Plan to ensure continued compliance with regulatory obligations and the key controls in place to manage key compliance risks:

 Regulatory Mapping - maintenance of the regulatory map in Back-Office.
 Horizon Scanning - identification of regulatory change.
 Effectiveness Reviews - monitoring and assessment of design and operating effectiveness of key controls.

This includes the monitoring and assessment of incidents, complaints and key compliance risk indicators for both Australia and New Zealand. The role will also involve supporting the local team in Australia to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk and compliance frameworks across marketing, finance and operations.

The Regulatory Compliance Manager will also support the Head of Regulatory Compliance (Australia) in the preparation of compliance reports to the Australian Executive Risk Committee and the RPA Board.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

The candidate should have 5 to 10 years experience in financial services in a risk or compliance role, preferably in banking or payments services. Experience with SQL coding or other data processing experience will be highly regarded.
