Truveris is seeking a Senior IT Specialist that will work in our New York City office and be responsible for managing the IT Team and the corporate computing infrastructure of the company. Responsibilities will include inventory management, equipment purchasing, tracking, and budget management, local and remote desktop support for both Mac and Windows environments, email and VOIP administration, and management of the IT team. The IT Manager will also be responsible for the network, setup and decommissioning of company laptops, and proactive maintenance of existing equipment.
The ideal candidate will have this unique blend of IT knowledge, the ability to provide professional customer service and communication, a passion for IT, excited to lead a team, and a “no job is too small and no challenge is too big” attitude.


    • Manage IT budget, equipment ordering and inventory, and ticketing system
    • Onboard new employees and provide IT and security training
    • Work with a geographically distributed team and lead IT-related corporate communication
    • Define and implement processes and best practices for all IT related functions across the organization
    • Triage and respond to IT support requests using support ticketing software
    • Inventory, prepare, and deliver hardware (laptops, desktops, phones, printers, cameras, tablets, etc.) to Truveris employees, as well as properly decommission laptops according to offboarding guidelines
    • Maintain both Windows and MacOS laptops including upgrades, maintenance of the operating system, installation of applications, security best practices, policy management, and ensuring , SOC2 and HIPAA compliance
    • Manage user provisioning, access controls, and auditing for a variety of software products and services used regularly by Truveris employees
    • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and phone issues
    • Test, evaluate, and make decisions about new technology for the organization
    • Manage and support voice and video conferencing including networked phone systems used for customer support
    • Manage vendor contracting and SLAs


    • 5+ years of IT management and leadership experience
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and organization skills
    • Experience managing one or more IT teams (experience managing remote teams or individuals a plus)
    • Excel at troubleshooting hardware and software from a variety of vendors, including Microsoft, Apple, and Google
    • Familiarity and experience with the majority of the following: RingCentral / VOIP, Atlassian JIRA, and Confluence, SAML (Okta, specifically) and SSO, Azure Active Directory, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams
    • Knowledge of Mimecast and Commvault or similar backup solutions will be helpful
    • Familiarity with SOC2 and HIPAA and managing compliance within a digital health organization (not required, but nice to have)
    • You're self-directed, confident, able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • You love teaching and learning and being a part of a team - you're excited to pick up new skills or investigate new technologies and equally able to share that knowledge with others
