Job Description

We are looking for a Community Manager for Brasil Market who will work closely with peer global Community Managers as well as Content, Marketing, BI departments to ensure community growth and engagement in Brainly Brasil. The challenge waiting for you is to maintain and increasee community engagement, as well as be the bridge connecting their efforts to drive towards maximum contribution to the market goals. In this role you will have 4 main areas of responsibility: safety, community engagement, customer service and social media management.

  • We transform the world online education by developing related products for students, parents, and teachers around the globe 
  • Brainly is used by 350+ million users monthly 
  • Our product has an international reach - we have users from 35 countries 
  • We have an extensive knowledge base of explanations of the most frequently asked academic questions (60 million)



  • Build and grow a team of moderators to ensure a safe and effective environment for learning
  • Identify areas for improvement and potential issues
  • Ensure community safety
  • Educate and motivate community members to improve and sustain high-quality content creation according to Brainly global standards 
  • Driving maximum Organic Answerability rate and TSR impact through the constant motivation of top helpers users
  • Ensure 98% of accuracy on moderations on reported content for 
  • Provide timely responses as well as prompt solutions to Brainly users inquiries and concerns
  • Work closely with Questions Operations Specialist to ensure optimal operational cost



Experience in:

  • Developing online communities/content creation/customer support
  • Internet industry
  • Ed-tech background (considered as a plus)
  • Education and a willingness to grow and develop a career in an educational startup (considered as a plus)
  • Community safety (considered as a plus)


  • Driven attitude & willingness to take initiative
  • Good analytical skills and excellent self-organization skills
  • Real teammate attitude as well as willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the broader team
  • Excellent communications skills and fluency in English & Portuguese
  • A “go-getter” attitude that thrives in a fast-paced startup culture
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work easily in the international environments
  • Data-driven approach and analytical thinking

Skills and systems:

  • Knowledge of Zendesk, SIFT, Surveys, WordPress, unbounce (considered as a plus)
