You can be the person to own our relationship with Suppliers in one part of the country. It's for you if you are passionate about food, how it's produced, transported, stored and sold. The more knowledge about the food industry you have, the better it is. It's basically our startup within the startup. The main requirement being of course Fluency in German  More info below

The first step towards realising this mission is our food-supply ordering platform connecting restaurants and suppliers and simplifying the way food is traded between them.

What will you do ?

 

If you only had to keep few things in mind from that job description:

Our Suppliers Partnership Manager are the one that take care of the long term. If our sales team spend their days on the field to help one restaurant at a time, your goal as a Supplier Partnership Manager is to make sure that we help suppliers to upgrade the way they receive and delivers orders. 

This job is a startup within the startup. Your job is find out the best way possible to achieve this goal. You are writing the playbook yourself, you provoke new processes and use creative approaches everyday.

 

The 3 objectives we propose you if you join us :

We will give you the ownership of one particular area that will evolve as long as you grow within the company (From a town to an entire country!) Your role is to acquire and extend the Choco supplier base within this area by building long term partnerships.

You use your analytical skills and your dedication to your supplier's success to turn those relationships into leads.

Like an entrepreneur, you find creative and efficient ways to achieve this objective and having it align internally, with our other teams. On top of becoming an ambassador externally, you share your learnings with the team and learn from them in return.

 

Your daily activities will be divided between these different missions:

Manage day to day suppliers relationship and communication

Meeting suppliers and spending most of the day on the field with them

Analyse business insights and turn them into action plans to develop Choco suppliers presence

Use your passion for the food industry at its best to stay aware of events, trends, competitors and industry developments

Internally, you know what is happening and what challenges everyone is facing and you are ready to help and improve things when required to make the whole team work smarter.

What does it take to perform on this job:

 

3 must haves:

You have a strong experience in a Sales / Purchasing / Partnership role and it's even better if it is in the food industry.

You are a remarkable communicator and you are adaptable. You can put yourself in the shoes of the CEO of a big supplier firm but also in the shoes of a tiny cider producer in the middle of the German countryside. 

You have what it takes to understand the broader picture and to come up with the best strategy but above all, you know how to be focus on the execution. You get things done!
