At SalesLoft, our Total Rewards Manager is a pivotal part of SalesLoft’s success as our go-to for all things benefits. With the help of the amazing people team, you will manage all benefit programs and policies including health plans, 401k management, leave administration and more. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all benefit vendors and will work as an advocate for employees by escalating claims as necessary. In addition, you will lead our annual open enrollment and confirm compliance for all programs/ plans.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for ensuring employee benefits are administered correctly.  Specifically, you will:

  • Manage the strategy of SalesLoft’s global total rewards programs including compensation, equity, health and welfare plans, medical, dental, vision, life, disability and other ancillary coverage to ensure compliance with all required ERISA regulations
  • Perform analysis and market studies on current programs, using insights to develop solutions that ensure internal fairness and external competitiveness.
  • Review proposed salary adjustments for conformity to established guidelines, policies, and practices.
  • Act as the main point of contact with all contracted vendors and serve as the escalation point for any complex service issues
  • Lead all facets of the annual benefits renewal process which may include plan design review, proposal analysis, cost modeling, development of communication tools and materials and education for the People Ops Team, all within required deadlines
  • Participate in Enterprise activities related to Benefits Administration and vendor negotiations
  • Provide monthly review of self-funded plan claims costs and work directly with Accounting to ensure that proper accruals are in place. Also responsible for ad-hoc reporting requests as required to support SalesLoft’s leadership
  • Manage all aspects of the 401(k) plan from eligibility, enrollment and audit. Oversee annual testing and audit. Perform routine plan analysis and develop robust employee education plans to drive participation
  • Work closely with Payroll to ensure that benefit plans and policies are being carried out as expected
  • Oversee Leave Administration to include internal leave management process as well as outsourced vendor management. Work with Legal as needed to handle leave cases within SalesLoft’s guidelines
  • Conduct regular audits of employee benefit enrollments, benefit billing and plan costs to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure company compliance with all state and federal guidelines including distributions of all required government filings Benefits documents and notices to employees
  • Track and analyze changes to state and federal laws related to Benefits which may require action by SalesLoft and notify People Ops Leadership as they apply
  • Participate in HRIS projects as required
  • Willing to accept other duties as assigned in support of the Total Rewards and People Ops goals and projects

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in managing and administering global benefit programs
  • Previous experience managing and administering benefit and retirement plans- additional experience with Mexico and the United Kingdom preferred
  • Proven analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to synthesize information and data from a variety of sources
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while prioritizing and meeting deadlines and handle highly sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to build, sustain and influence relationships at all levels and develop networks, as appropriate
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a high-demand environment while demonstrating professionalism and good judgment
  • Previous experience helping teams build and utilize Workday Benefits system preferred
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Tenacity in how you approach and engage with the best talent in the marketplace to stand out from all of the noise
  • Fantastic interpersonal communication skills and experience interfacing with all levels of an organization

  • Attend SalesLoft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn the SalesLoft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique 
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, meet & shadow current members of the SalesLoft team, and delve into your territory 
  • Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Meet key partners in Finance, Executives etc. - they will be key relationships for you throughout your role
  • Become familiar with the employee life cycle, SalesLoft culture, and business processes 
  • Begin understanding SalesLoft’s compensation structure and processes


  • Become familiar with all of our benefit plans, policies and offerings
  • Begin pricing jobs and providing compensation consultation to our People Partners
  • Begin working with vendors on any escalated employee or process issues
  • Be comfortable performing tasks in Workday and reviewing compensation and benefit business processes


  • Be the subject matter expert in employee questions (compensation, benefits, perks, processes, etc.) 
  • Begin preparing for our next Open Enrollment by negotiating costs and solidifying proposals for our following plan year 
  • Familiar with the Workday reporting process and will be able to build and pull regular reports to audit employee elections
  • Owning our merit and quarterly bonus processes


  • Successfully complete company-wide open enrollment
  • Act as a subject matter expert on all SalesLoft rewards
