About SafetyCulture

SafetyCulture is a customer and product-driven company with an ambitious mission: empower front line workers to drive operational excellence and take ownership of their safety and wellbeing. The company started in Townsville, our HQ is in Sydney, and we have offices in Kansas City, Manchester and Manila.

Job Description

SafetyCulture is an Australian-based, international tech scale-up. We create SaaS solutions that empower front line workers to drive operational excellence and take ownership of their safety and wellbeing.

iAuditor was launched in 2012 to solve a global problem. Reduce workplace injuries and help frontline workers get home safely to their families. Fast forward 8 years, and we have hundreds of thousands of workers in over 150 countries using our platform, conducting millions of inspections every month. We’re excited to have a largely untapped global market and ambitious goals to reach 100 million workers. We’re looking for talented and mission-driven people to drive that growth.

The role

As an important member of our People Team, you’ll partner closely with all our Go To Market leadership team across Sales, Customer Success, Support and Marketing to deliver people programs, provide advisory and help us build the best employee experience in the market.

You’ll work across the full spectrum of P&C from providing general people advice and direction, compensation, onboarding, engagement, benefits, learning and development to retention. People describe you as authentic and empathetic and seek you out as their go-to person for all things people. You are people-focussed in your approach and love finding ways to build impactful initiatives for your stakeholders and creating an environment where people get to do their best work.

How you can have an impact

We have some incredibly audacious goals as a company and we can only get there if our people have the best programs, coaching and environment to enable them to do their best work. This role will have a huge impact partnering with our leaders and teams to unlock their potential and to harness their skills to contribute meaningfully to personal and company goals every day. This role is crucial in ensuring our policies, programs and initiatives are aligned to our company strategy and support the reward, recognition and development of employees.

What you’ll need

    • 5+ years experience in the HR generalist space with previous experience as a HR business partner (bonus if you have start up/tech experience)
    • Full experience across the employee lifecycle (from onboarding through to offboarding)
    • Experience coaching leaders on employment relations issues using knowledge of Australian employment law (bonus if you have experience with US & UK employment law also)
    • Skilled in partnering and coaching leaders on a range of people matters including performance, development, compensation, engagement and L&D
    • Passion for using a range of qualitative and quantitative people data to help drive decision and build programs
    • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and know when and how to bring a sense of enjoyment and fun that’s contagious (it’s a wild ride so we may as well enjoy ourselves along the way)
    • Ability to demonstrate the SafetyCulture values (Think Customer, Open Honest Always, Better as a Team and Be Bold Bring Action)

Benefits

    • Equity with high growth potential, and a competitive salary
    • A range of flexible work arrangements to balance work and life
    • In-house chef team serving up daily breakfast, lunch and unlimited snacks catering to all dietary requirements
    • Coffee machine and beer/wine on tap, pool table, board games, books library, and pet-friendly office
    • Wellbeing initiatives such as subsidised fitness programs, EAP services and generous parental leave policy
    • Quarterly celebrations and team events, including the annual ShipIt global offsite
The Company

SafetyCulture is a customer and product-driven company with an ambitious mission: empower front line workers to drive operational excellence and take ownership of their safety and wellbeing. The company started in Townsville, our HQ is in Sydney, and we have offices in Kansas City, Manchester and Manila.

Our first product, iAuditor, is a mobile platform that helps teams around the world carry out inspections and spot issues quickly and easily. The knock-on effects are huge: by surfacing exactly what matters, people in teams can act to improve their business, raising their game, again and again. From boutique hotels to space exploration companies, millions are discovering the positive impact iAuditor can have on their teams and performance every day. Today there are more than 25,000 companies that pay for our products, carrying out millions of inspections per month.

This is an exciting time in SafetyCulture’s history. We now have roughly 400 mission-obsessed people driving outcomes for our customers. We have a strong senior leadership team with experience taking start-ups through the critical scale-up phase. We’ve raised more than $150 million in funding, which will be used to evolve the product into an alerts platform for distributed teams, and expansion into insurance, sensors and IoT, and telematics for fleets. The goal is to have 100 million people using our products every day.

To all recruitment agencies: we do not accept resumes or partnership opportunities. Please do not forward resumes to SafetyCulture or any of our employees. We are not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes.
