Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a results-driven out of the box thinking HR & People – Content and Communication Specialist to have a substantial business impact in support of iMerit’s strategically-focused global teams. Works with other members of the HR Department along with cross functional relations and employees to help and support the company on functional human resource objectives this role will have a strong responsibility upon content creation, designing communication for internal and external forums.

 

Responsibilities

  • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
  • Research HR Award entry opportunities, white paper submissions.
  • Create budgetary requirements.
  • Prepare well-structured drafts, proofread and edit content posts before publication.
  • Submit work to managers for input and approval
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate as required
  • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic for any HR publications.
  • Promote content on social media as required.
  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
  • Update website content as needed for HR related areas.
  • Coordination with vendors and external teams as required.
  • Create and design internal engagement content for teams as required.
  • Work as a part of the overall HR engagement team
  • The above is just an indicative list of tasks- adhoc and regular tasks will be defines as required.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role especially with HR focus for upto 2 years.
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Experience doing research using multiple sources in the human resources field preferred.
  • Familiarity with web publications in HR
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Some HR exposure will be preferred
  • Bachelors in Marketing, English, Journalism and HR or related fields. Masters preferred.
