As a Research Associate at Boundless Bio, you will play a significant role in helping us transform exciting ecDNA discoveries into cancer medicines of the future.  You will perform technical and laboratory tasks to support assay development projects for eventual use in target identification, target validation, basic biology, diagnostic, and/or clinical testing applications. As part of a collaborative team, you will design and execute laboratory experiments and testing programs, evaluate test data, and prepare associated documentation, presentations and reports to support the Boundless Bio drive for innovation.

• Design, execute, and troubleshoot new procedures and assays for new project initiatives and/or offerings
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and establish new processes and/or workflows
• Develop and execute experimental plan(s) using NGS, qPCR, ddPCR, and/or other molecular techniques
• Participate in experimental design of novel workflows
• Establish, and ensure that data generated meets QC guidelines and ensure accurate record keeping
• Collaborate with bioinformatics to collaboratively design experiments and analysis workflows
• Perform initial analysis on designed experiments and contribute to decisions for assay or workflow optimization. Identify and troubleshoot problems that may adversely affect test performance/results
• Work in conjunction with internal department staff, external resources, and/or collaborators as needed to obtain/share information and execute project
• Train and assist new staff with technical and operational procedures
• Contribute to peer reviewed publications, posters, and meeting presentations
• Perform all duties in keeping with the Company’s core values, policies, and all applicable regulations
