Hivebrite is looking for his or her Technical Program Manager to be responsible for the overall coordination and management of software engineering initiatives in our transversal Devops tribe.

 

RESPONSABILITIES

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, your missions will be the following:

Define and execute strategic initiatives across the engineering team

• Identify and rationalize impediments and future challenges of a fast growing SaaS product
• Promote an overall vision on some key engineering topics
• Define requirements and actively animate the design of solutionsIdentify and manage risks
• Prioritize according to tangible business value shared all across the organization, supported by data when needed
• Help the team deliver the expected outputs, including some hands-on contribution when needed
• Communicate clearly about the initiative, its status and the decisions made

Leadership inside and outside the devops group

• Stimulate and encourage the creativity and the production of the teams by helping them in their mission and share energy and engagement
• Influence teams regarding their practices
• Build strong working relationships with all contributors and other stakeholders
• Hire best talents

Be a key contributor on topics like

• Development flow
• CICD practices
• Devops practices
• Cloud operational practices

REQUIREMENTS - This role is perfect if you :

• have a solid background in software engineering and operations management
• are an excellent team playerlove to solve complex problemscan take a new perspective on existing solutions
• can explain clearly very technical questions to non-technical people
• trust in agility and collective intelligence
• have strong notions in all and at least expertise in one of the following: CICD (Jenkins preferred), Devops organization, Cloud operations (GCP preferred), scaled applications, development experience, testing strategy
• have solid notions of product and project management
• can wave decisions based on excellence, budget and timeline have significant experience in a similar position
• can speak in english fluently
