The Role
Outreach is a leader in sales engagement software and one of the fastest growing technology companies in the world. Founded in 2014, we’ve experienced incredible growth and both the platform and the company have achieved worldwide recognition.
We recently established an office in the UK, and we’re now looking for a senior resource to lead our team of sales reps. You will be responsible for harnessing our success within the US and tailoring it to the EMEA markets. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced, globally renowned organization. 

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

    • Keeping abreast of sales trends to strengthen your credibility in the industry and to ensure Outreach remains a market leader amongst other SaaS companies
    • Staying in tune with the experiences customers have with Outreach, so that you can apply these learnings to your strategies
    • Using and learning about the product to enable you to support your teams, strengthen conversations with prospects, and ensure that use cases and sales strategies are on point
    • Attending and leading industry events to position Outreach as being an innovative leader with regards to sales techniques
    • Designing interview tasks and processes that will enable you to assess, identify and hire high-calibre sales reps
    • Actively promoting Outreach as an employer of choice, encouraging an increase in quality in-bound applications
    • Running performance reviews and other team engagement and development strategies, ensuring that the skills and careers of individuals grows over time
    • Allocating and organizing accounts and territories to sales reps, ensuring each rep has the opportunity to challenge themselves and succeed
    • Managing sales activity across EMEA, ensuring revenue and other sales targets are met, and identifying and actioning any opportunities, issues and risks along the way
    • Identifying deals that need additional support, and working with sales rep to craft actionable strategies to manage and successfully close the deal
    • Monitoring and measuring sales performance, working with your team and other teams to implement strategies to improve sales metrics
    • Listening in, partnering, and monitoring sales meetings/calls with the purpose of providing detailed feedback that will improve the performance of each sales rep
    • Coaching sales reps in order to help them outperform, in particular, helping to turn newly promoted Emerging AEs (previously SDRs) into effective closers
    • Acting as the champion for sales activity ensuring that your team is engaged and retained as a result of your leadership and vision, and that other internal teams are aligned to your team’s objectives and efforts.

Basic Qualifiactions

    • Strategic and consultative selling - you have a deep understanding for how to sell B2B SaaS products in a consultative way. You take a strategic approach in the management of high volume, multi-market, multi-segment transactions
    • Attention to detail - nothing escapes your notice - you can not only observe and recall details within conversations, meetings, pitches etc, but you can pinpoint areas to optimize on or improve
    • Tactical - you can craft a very targeted plan for a specific deal, and know how to help your team execute it flawlessly. You are excellent in a crisis and when dealing with unexpected situations
    • Strong recruiter - you know how to assess and identify sales talent. You attract and engage the best candidates on the market
    • Influential leader and coach - you hold court in a room and can align multiple stakeholders to your vision. You know how to coach and develop individuals in a way that leads them to succeed
