We're looking for a Senior UX Designer to create world-class user experiences for our consumer marketplace platform. We are looking for a designer with the passion to solve user problems through design thinking, and who believes in continuous betterment of their work. As a designer and systems-level design thinker, you will help shape the design culture and process from the ground up, by providing vision, leadership and direction.

What will I be doing?

• Build relationships and collaborate with teams across UX Research, Product Management, Engineering, Business Analytics, and Product Marketing
• Own and drive design problems from ideation to execution
• Create user scenarios, user journey, wireframes, UI designs and prototypes throughout the full cycle of the product development process
• Deliver high-fidelity assets and specs ready for engineering
• Use quantitative data, user research, and qualitative feedback to inform design decisions
• Quickly iterate on multiple interactive design solutions and work through details
• Deeply understand business goals, customer needs and preferences, and challenge product requirements as necessary
• Actively practice and evangelize customer-centric thinking
• Contextualize the holistic impact of your design in the dynamic ecosystem of technology enabling beauty & wellness brands
• Work with the larger design team to conform with the latest design system and contribute to its continuous innovation

What skills do I need?

• You are fluent in the latest cross-platform product design trends, tools and technologies
• You are a generalist who can drive the design process end-to-end
• You are detail-oriented while being able to see the big picture
• You make a great partner and collaborator with engineers and product managers, and work cross-functionally to deliver user experiences that delight customers
• You are an excellent storyteller and communicator
• You love a fast-paced startup environment, embrace change, and have a bias for action
• You have a passion for getting things right for your customers

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction & Design, UX/UI Design, Information Studies, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of work experience UX or product designer, or similar role focused on consumer technology products
• Experience designing and shipping products for mobile and desktop

Note: This position will be remote to start, but on a long-term basis will operate out of the Zenoti office in Vancouver, B.C.
