Job Description

Wonolo, which stands for Work Now Locally, is disrupting the $70bn temporary staffing industry. Founded in 2014, Wonolo is a remote-first company with three regional hubs: San Francisco Bay Area, Nashville, and Toronto. We have built a tech-enabled marketplace that connects businesses in need of front-line workers on a temporary or seasonal basis, with 500,000 underemployed workers in local markets all across the country. Our mission is to empower the in-demand workforce by providing flexible and fulfilling job opportunities for everyone.

As a marketplace, Wonolo has two sides – demand, which acquires and grows companies needing workers (“Requestors”), and supply, which acquires and grows workers needing jobs (“Wonoloers”).

We are looking for a B2B Marketing Coordinator that is customer obsessed and data-driven. You'll understand our target customers and markets to help execute engaging campaigns that illustrate our value proposition. In this role, you will actively support full customer lifecycle campaigns to acquire and retain Requestors.

Reporting directly to the Director of B2B Marketing, you'll work with Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, Marketing Operations, and Product teams on cross-functional projects. If you’re interested in joining a growing team within a mission-focused company to help the underemployed, join us!

We are open to qualified candidates located anywhere in the United States and Canada.

What you'll do:

    • Execute marketing campaigns supporting the entire customer journey across all channels, with a stronger focus on email campaigns
    • Build & maintain email lists based on database criteria and setup suppression/distribution filters
    • QA campaigns for messaging, functionality, tracking, rendering, and compliance
    • Create playbooks and QA checklists for new process development
    • Monitor campaign performance trends, analyze & share results, and test to meet KPIs
    • Identify and prioritize new areas of opportunity to amplify customer engagement
    • Help ideate, draft and create target email messaging & marketing collateral based off personas, industries, etc
    • Develop relationships with customer-facing teams (Sales, Customer Ops, Key Account Management) to understand our core personas & industries

Who you are:

      • You demonstrate a commitment towards advancing representation and inclusion
      • 2-4 years experience with hands-on execution of email marketing campaigns using marketing automation platform, Marketo experience strongly preferred
      • Excellent communication & exceptional writing and storytelling skills - expert at simple yet effective messaging with as few words as possible
      • Ability to review analytics and optimize for maximum results, experience with A/B tests preferred
      • Obsessed with a customer-first strategy and understanding their needs to drive engaging marketing campaigns
      • Motivated, scrappy self-starter that gets the job done and is eager to learn new skills
      • Believes in the mission of providing flexible merit-based work opportunities to all

If you have read up to this point, we hope you are excited about this opportunity to work at Wonolo! Even if your experience does not check every bullet point, we still highly encourage you to apply. The best hires do not always check off every box of a job description.
