Why this role is exciting:

As BDR Manager you will focus on managing functions essential to our go-to-market strategy to drive sales enablement and productivity. This includes planning, forecasting, reporting and analytics, sales process optimization, and marketing and sales tech stack management.

Your day to day will focus on the following:

  • Leadership: Train, and develop a team of BDRs. Motivate individuals and team to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives. 
  • Continuous improvement: Contribute thought leadership and best practice, both internally and externally, around business transformation. Identify and make recommendations for improvement and innovation in the areas of the process, efficiency, and productivity. Continually assess telephone-orientated lead generation campaign and marketing program effectiveness to determine successful growth, investment areas, message optimization, and decreased focus.
  • Sales Effectiveness: Align sales leadership to develop, implement, and evolve processes, sales strategies, training, and tools with a focus on scalability and automation. Oversee key elements of sales automation to optimize SFDC choosing new vendors and managing implementations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • To develop and retain world-class front-line sales development reps that live and drive our values each day
  • Achieve monthly opportunity acquisition targets that support our booking goals
  • Inspire and motivate your team on a daily basis
  • Drive initiatives that celebrate, reward, and recognize top-performers and build high employee engagement
  • Ensure Sales Development reps are advancing in sales/product skills that support both their long term career goals as well as their productivity and effectiveness in their day to day function
  • Build effective communication processes to ensure your people are informed on all aspects of our business performance and priorities
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with Marketing, Rev Ops and Events teams
  • Demand Operational Excellence through the adherence of Sales disciplines (e.g. tasks in the anatomy of the quarter, Sales Force.com hygiene, accurate forecasting)
  • Oversees implementation and administration of the organization's business development program
  • Assesses potential new markets, evaluates business opportunities, and develops strategies for targeting potential customers
  • Establishes and enforces standards governing lead generation, prospect contact and follow-up, and opportunity qualification
  • Coaches a team of business development representatives in assessing customer needs and positioning the organization's products or services as potential solutions
  • Tracks business development activities and reports on results to management

 

Does this sound like you?

  • College Degree
  • 3-5 years Director level or higher building SaaS sales teams
  • Proven record of results
  • History of scaling successful sales organizations
  • General knowledge of e-commerce marketing, sales, recruiting, scaling, etc
  • Good communication skills in both written and verbal

 

Once we return to office and client meetings, working on the Impact sales team offers the following:

  • Flexible remote working policy - this is a full-time office based position; however, the sales team works together from the Central London office (near the Tottenham Ct Rd tube) on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The other three days can be remote, on site with clients, or in the office - wherever you work best!

    • Regularly donating blood, as a group, to our local blood bank, and encouraging Impact staff to give blood for the first time
    • Planting trees and plants in our office
    • The Impact Piggy Bank raises funds for the chosen charities. The idea is very simple with the Impact team putting unwanted change into the piggy bank and at the end of the year, we will break it open and whatever funds have been collected will be donated to a charity chosen by everyone collectively.
