CaptivateIQ is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our growing Marketing team. This person will create and produce original, thoughtful content pieces that translate our customers’ challenges into a meaningful narrative. You will develop a deep understanding of our industry, our diverse target audience and bridge our company’s offerings to establish ourselves as thought leaders in the space. Determining how to compensate commissionable employees for their efforts and ensuring they have visibility into this complex process is crucial to job satisfaction, team effectiveness, and overall company success. 

Responsibilities

    • Help make CaptivateIQ the leading voice in the industry with a fresh perspective to tell our story.
    • Create the vision for our content strategy and editorial calendar across all of our existing channels, including website, case studies, email, ads, events, social media, and more.
    • Working with stakeholders across the company to tease out unique stories about our products, company, customers, and industry.
    • Owning content measurement including tracking how content sources and influences pipeline and revenue, and monitoring the performance of created assets on SEO, marketing campaigns, and the user/buyer journey.
    • Keeping up with the top of industry trends and news so that we are at the forefront of our space and can continue to educate ourselves and our customersHelp conduct research with customers, internal leadership, and other available sources to drive content strategy.
    • Work with our technology partners to pitch blog swaps as part of our co-marketing initiatives.

Requirements

    • 5-8 years of writing, communications, or marketing experience, preferably in the technology industry. A degree in communications, journalism, or creative writing is a plus.
    • Strong writer with experience across various content styles (SEO, infographic, web copy, email, blog post, customer story, data-driven analysis, etc.)
    • Demonstrated record of successfully shipping high-quality projects with independence and confidence.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, performance-driven environmentAptitude in working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and customer experience.
