As an experienced salesperson, you will take on a hands-on strategic advisor approach to set up our new business function in the DACH region, selling digital transformation personalisation solutions to innovative senior directors across retail, financial services, travel, hospitality, telecom, media, and entertainment. You will leverage your proven DACH knowledge and experience to develop custom and creative enterprise solutions that leverage the power of Movable Ink's visual experience platform to combat the challenges faced by Fortune 1000 marketing leaders now and in the next decade. This role has the potential to progress into leadership in the DACH region and will report to the Vice President, EMEA.
Responsibilities of the :
- Building the very first DACH pipeline of world-class brands across many verticals in the DACH region
- Owning/leading meetings at stakeholder level, leading larger strategy sessions on personalised marketing best practices across email, web, mobile, and display, leveraging Movable Ink's strategies and playbooks for each channel and each vertical
- Building and forecasting a high-value pipeline accurately with expected close date, projected deal size, and projected deal probability
- Leveraging your comprehensive knowledge of the DACH market to understand the client's business, program goals, objectives and drive value through onsite meetings and quarterly business reviews; when safe travel conditions permit, ~40-60% travel
- Work collaboratively with Movable Ink’s Client Experience, Partner Sales, and Solutions Consulting teams to ensure successful sales outcomes leading to happy clients
Required Qualifications
- 5+ successful years experience in enterprise martech sales to CEOs, CMOs, VPs and Directors of Marketing
- Previous leadership experience and proven track record of closing large and high-quality deals
- Technical aptitude and/or background in technology
- Solid understanding of the digital marketing landscape
- High performance in selling in a specific geographic territory
- A consultative sales style, strong experience selling solutions and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English and German
- Previous experience of setting up a new business function in a new region
- Commitment to consistently achieve results, demonstrating high performance, and challenging self and team to deliver results
- Strong collaboration, communication, leadership and account ownership skills
- Knowledge of key digital marketing metrics and strategies that can increase engagement
