OODA is building a revolutionary technology platform that eliminates unnecessary friction and administration from the payment process, enabling a retail experience for patients. Founded in 2017 with substantial financial backing, we are a passionate, growing team looking for dedicated teammates to make a major impact on the healthcare system. We are committed to living our company values to provide a positive and dynamic working environment for our team members. Based on the principle of Colonel John Boyd’s OODA Loop, we know we must move quickly and with purpose to effect meaningful change in healthcare.

Provider Sales is responsible for recruiting new providers onto the OODA platform, a key strategic priority with board-level visibility. To succeed in this role, you must have the energy, perseverance, and skill to close complex provider deals while managing the dynamics of a fluid and evolving set of products.

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Generate leads, build relationships, and close deals with health systems, hospitals, physician groups, and other healthcare providers
    • Own your geography and its provider ecosystem
    • Develop multi-faceted business cases for provider prospects, helping OODA to hone our value proposition and materials
    • Problem-solve with product and implementation to address prospect feedback, concerns, and requirements
    • Manage our channel partners in service of our provider goals (including payer clients and health systems)
    • Evangelize the OODA mission and vision
    • Collaborate cross-functionally on channel management, implementation, and ensuring market feedback informs our product strategy
    • Help build out internal processes for the Sales team

You:

    • Understand and speak the language of administrative decision-makers at providers
    • Can quickly master the details of OODA’s product and market
    • Have outstanding written and oral communication
    • Are comfortable with the ambiguity and fast pace of start-up life
    • Are creative and determined when it comes to solving problems and achieving goals
    • Excel at building meaningful partnerships with sophisticated clients
    • Have both executive polish and the willingness to attend to tactical details
    • Are mission-driven
    • Are comfortable with frequent travel (though the OODA team is working virtually for at least the remainder of 2020 due to precautions related to the COVID-19 virus)

Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in provider-facing business development or sales at a fast-paced start-up
    • Track record of building and managing successful client relationships
    • Experience and comfort using Salesforce, G Suite, Microsoft Office
    • Bachelor's required, master's preferred
We offer all employees competitive, data-driven compensation, stock options and generous benefits (which begin on your first day of employment).
