Job Description


We're looking for a Financial Risk Lead Manager to be a key member of our team as we build our new Dublin office. Working alongside the Chief Risk Officer to take ownership of capital, liquidity, market and credit risk management.

The Financial Risk Lead will:

 be involved in banking licence application & associated infrastructure setup and management
 develop and maintain Revolut Ireland’s liquidity, market and credit (wholesale & credit) risk strategy, policy and review, including the setting of appropriate limits
 provide key 2LOD challenge in the areas of liquidity, market and credit risk
 support the localisation of global risk policies in the key risk areas above
 work with the CFO/Treasury to oversee our liquidity position
 identify local market risk exposures and ensure mitigants are implemented, as appropriate, in accordance with risk appetite
 together with our partners, ensure Revolut remains compliant with all third-party policies, applicable legislation and market best practice
 develop local risk management policies, strategies and risk appetite and their alignment with the Group risk management framework
 monitor key risk indicators against prescribed limits
 deputise for the Chief Risk Officer as required


The successful candidate will possess the following:

 At least 10 years of risk management experience with Credit, Market and Liquidity Risks
 Experience setting up a second line risk function in a retail bank
 Strong knowledge of ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery/Resolution Planning and RMP requirements
 Extensive knowledge of balance sheet and income statement dynamics and liquidity, market and credit risk issues and methodologies (including VaR)
 Experience managing and/or controlling key outsourced services and adherence to service delivery standards and escalation procedures• Proficiency with analytics tools such as SQL or Python (an advantage)
 A strong academic record with a degree or concentration in a STEM discipline
 Excellent problem-solving skills
