Bluecore is an AI-driven retail marketing platform that brings together website, customer and live product insights to match customers with the products they love.  As Director, Talent Acquisition you will help Bluecore get the right people in the right roles to continue our exponential growth.
The Director, Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading a team of recruiters and scaling our ability to source, attract and hire the best talent for Bluecore that achieves the growth we’re aiming for over the next few years.


    • Lead the talent acquisition team to promote a positive, growth-oriented environment and talent acquisition activities that deliver high quality candidates to support the Company’s growth trajectory.
    • Partner with business leaders to provide a talent acquisition strategy that is aligned with the Company’s strategic priorities and needs; with workforce budgets in mind.
    • Work with People and Marketing teams to drive our branding efforts, value proposition and present Bluecore as a compelling and attractive destination workplace.
    • Develop, coach and support a best in class internal talent acquisition team.
    • Build strong relationships with Hiring Managers to ensure the ability to influence, guide and drive the recruiting process.
    • Ensure that candidates have a positive experience that is reflective of our culture.
    • Own and drive the adoption of recruiting data and KPI's to improve time to fill and hiring effectiveness.
    • Simplify and streamline processes/systems to ensure efficiency and economies of scale.
    • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines for current and future hiring demands, understanding big-picture company growth plans.
    • Partner with People Team on diversity and culture in all aspects of the hiring process, from content of job descriptions, training, interview panels that improve diversity hires.
    • Ensure data integrity and use reporting and metrics to improve recruiting efficiency.
    • In partnership with Marketing, develop content across social media (Linkedin, Bluecore’s careers page, Medium blog, etc.) to drive branding efforts.


    • BA or BS from an accredited university. A focus in Human Resources, Psychology or other related discipline is preferred.
    • Minimum of 10+ years recruiting experience, with a successful track record building and leading high-performance recruiting teams in high-growth environments.
    • Proven experience scaling talent acquisition operations, preferably within the SaaS tech industry (particularly software engineering, data science,sales, customer success and operations).
    • Demonstrated skill in building organizational capabilities around talent acquisition - aligning hiring strategy, institutionalizing data-driven best practices, coaching/influencing leaders, building employer brand.
    • Strong knowledge of all pertinent employment laws at the state and federal level as they pertain to recruitment and interviewing.
    • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills at all levels of an organization with ability to influence, build confidence and trust in leading the recruitment process.
    • A reputable leader with a proven aptitude for identifying and developing top talent and inspiring diverse teams to do their best work in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
    • Excellent relationship building capabilities with a keen ability to drive engagement with the recruiting process. Mature proactive professional judgment is vital.
    • Experience in working with retained / contingent search firms as needed and negotiating fees and contracts related to those services.
    • Previous experience recruiting for senior level roles, and specifically within technology, including engineering, data science, and product management is a must.
