We are recruiting an HRIS Manager who will configure and implement our HRIS system, and manage the system once activated (i.e. employee data management, reporting & analytics, and HR process development, deployment, and systems administration). This role will be responsible for leading projects and leveraging existing HR technology to enhance processes for all aspects of HR including recruitment, onboarding, employee self-service, manager self-service, workforce management, succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, and learning & development.
The HRIS Manager will successfully provide expertise and counsel including management and program administration, team member training and guidance, policy and procedures, and will lead special projects to include interfacing with vendors, consultants, and Company personnel at all levels. This role will report directly to our Chief People Officer and is located in South San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the HRIS liaison between both technical and functional areas of the business including various groups within the “Company”, and other internal and external clients
- Ensure effective definition and delivery of HRIS applications
- Lead in assessing future technology needs
- Develop and document business requirements and functional specifications
- Develop test conditions and conduct acceptance testing and implementing solutions
- Lead the configuration, data transfer, and roll out of the system to users
- Input and maintain accurate and timely data (new hires, changes, terminations, etc.)
- Provide superior customer service to all end-users regarding system use and function
- Troubleshoot vendor file interfaces issues
- Monitor and report on new business initiatives including the implementation of new HRIS modules or system functionality
- Document process flows and create user guides for various HR systems
- Ensure integrity and security of data
- Lead projects to enhance processes for all aspects of HR including: recruitment, onboarding, employee self-service, manager self-service,
- Partners across functional areas of HR and business units to provide input into new processes, procedures and training
- Provide superior customer service to all end-users regarding system use and function
- Maintain people data and ensure accuracy and data integrity across all HR systems by conducting data audits and analysis
- Provide technical support and training to end users on existing systems and enhancements
- Identify, design, test, implement, and maintain system configuration of various HR systems on an ongoing basis
