Job Description

Who we are:

We are Epsagon’s product solution experts. As a member of the Sales Engineering team you will have the opportunity to assist in our worldwide growth by sharing your technical and product expertise through product demonstrations, assisting in technical proofs-of-concept and proofs-of-value, and providing world-class support throughout the pre-sales process. You will have the ability to speak at technical conferences, write customer-facing collateral and documentation, and become deeply ingrained in our sales process. You will also have the ability to impact our product roadmap and company vision through your interactions with potential customers.



  • First and foremost you will partner with Account Executives to provide custom demonstrations and convey the Epsagon value proposition
  • Become a deep subject matter expert on all things Epsagon and our technical landscape to convey credibility
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes in our CRM on client interactions and communications
  • Deliver product presentations to our customers, and present on industry technical topics at trade shows and events
  • Develop a deep understanding of potential customers business’ and their technical architectures
  • Collaborate with our product team to scope custom requirements, new product features, and/or integrations
  • Help build and shape the technical sales process through your interactions with Account Executives and your customers




  • The ability to think creatively and scope our solution to potential customers ever-changing requirements and needs
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and abilities
  • Required programming experience in Ruby or C# .NET Core
  • An understanding of languages like Python, Node.JS, Java, Go, or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Sales Engineering, DevOps, software engineering role or similar
  • Knowledge and understanding of current monitoring and observability solutions and technologies
  • Knowledge of open source solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTracing, OpenTelemetry, and others
  • Experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Istio, and others
  • Experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
