This is an exciting opportunity to join an Accounting team that is applying innovative technology and leveraging analytics to help transform the finance function into a digital finance organization. The ideal candidate is accountable for day-to-day treasury & capital operations related activities and treasury risk management practices. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and monitoring of policies, procedures, and practices at Uplift, for global growth in areas covering liquidity, funding management, cash and investment portfolio management, and financial modeling and analysis. The candidate will report directly to the Sr. Director of Treasury and Capital Operations and will have the ability to influence executive decisions.


      • Track & Report daily cash needs at each stage of the lending and payment process.
      • Build corporate cash flow forecasting capabilities; identify business drivers around corporate working capital usage with a focus on forecasting and improving working capital usage.
      • Oversee cash movements and ensure SLA’s across financial and non-financial partners to ensure compliance and efficient integration and reporting.
      • Reconcile financial transactions and identify optimization opportunities throughout the process.
      • Establish optimized cash utilization monitoring and provide insights to cross-functional teams on the scope to improve efficiencies across the Uplift platform.
      • Design and define system flows to support global Treasury function, considering constraints from payment processors, financial partners, & payment networks.
      • Liaise with Accounting, Engineering, and other internal teams to ensure timely settlements and money movements by establishing appropriate controls.
      • Develop a strategy to define & optimize FX exposure of the company in cross-collaboration with Accounting, Commercial & Product teams. 
      • Build/Integrate into a treasury system supporting cross-currencies and manage automated reporting for executive reviews and decision making.
      • Recommend and establish a multi-year roadmap for the company’s debt financing needs.
      • Contribute to the capital market operations team, identifying new debt partners or structures, maintaining existing relationships, and managing onboarding and review processes.


      • Based in the United States or Canada
      • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or business-related field (CTP preferred)
      • 2 - 5 years of treasury/cash management experience, with extensive global treasury exposure
      • 1 - 2 years of experience in Fintech or online financial services experience (preferred)
      • The ability to work with and synthesize extremely large data sets and previous systems designs
      • The ideal candidate has relevant treasury experience in fintech or financial institutions. Other relevant experience includes corporate treasury backgrounds with high operational complexity
      • Strong attention to detail and an obsession with driving operational improvements
      • A demonstrated ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects with high attention to detail
      • Strong communication skills and an ability to build and leverage cross-functional relationships

    • Knowledge of Payment and/or Lending industry
    • Experience with SQL/R/Python
    • Passionate about disruptive technology and identifying use cases for implementation
