Finix builds payments infrastructure for vertically-focused software providers and fintech companies. With Finix, businesses can own and monetize their entire payments experience without having to build an in-house system from scratch or rely on third-party payment service providers.

We closed our Series B funding in February 2020 and announced an extension in August, bringing our total funding to $96 million. About the role:
We're currently looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing Finix team, who is well versed in all human resources functions from onboarding to strategic analysis and performance management and everything in between. In addition to providing guidance and support to our business unit partners on a variety of HR disciplines, our ideal candidate will have a heavy focus on Performance Management as well as own our HRIS system Benefits Administration. The HRBP will bring their well-rounded experience and documented success in providing guidance to managers on performance and employee relations, ensuring consistency, and putting managers in a position to succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

    • Providing strategic HR support, including benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, guidance, and policy interpretation.
    • Managing for HR technology platforms, including the maintenance of HRIS/Payroll systems and records and performance management software; maintains employee records.
    • Supporting the onboarding process and procedures including technology systems that help to administer our robust onboarding program. 
    • Help develop innovative employee engagement programs in partnership with our Employee Experience Manager to enhance connectivity and job satisfaction for all our people.
    • Leveraging HR technology platforms and HRIS data to produce meaningful analysis, reports, and business insights to the Head of People and respective business units.
    • Analyzing HR Metrics (e.g., turnover, onboarding, engagement, etc.) and prepare trend reports to review with Head of Talent.
    • Processing routine employee changes and ad hoc pay requests in the HRIS and Payroll systems.
    • Responding to employee's inquiries regarding policies and procedures, payroll, and benefits.
    • Researching, investigating, and resolving employee performance or conduct matters.
    • Providing manager support for performance management processes.
    • Assisting in developing and implementing personnel policies and procedures; contributing to the maintenance of the handbook on policies and procedures.

About You:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business related field or equivalent work experience
    • 7+ years experience in human resources, benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, and HRIS Analysis
    • Adept at managing complex and sensitive Employee Relations issues
    • Has worked in startups, preferably within a fast-scaling organization
    • In-depth experience developing and managing Performance Management programs within a tech company
    • Experience in a SaaS company with a specialty in high-velocity startup environments
    • Expertise in HRIS systems
    • Experience managing benefits programs, broker relationships, and administration
    • Exhibits concise and consistent judgment as it pertains to employee relations, talent management, and performance management
    • Expert in written and verbal communication skills
    • Exhibits emotional and mental rigor
What We Offer: 
Finix offers a comprehensive benefits package, including new additions for 2020. Benefits are effective on the 1st of the month after your start date. 
Health - We offer a variety of health insurance plans with two major carriers (UHC for national coverage and Kaiser as an additional option for CA). Finix pays 90% of the employee premium and 50% of the dependent premium for whichever plan you choose. The remainder of the premium will be deducted from your paycheck pre-tax.

Paid Time Off - In addition to federal holidays, we offer accrued time off of up to 15 days per calendar year with a 40-hour carry-over. Sick time is accrued separately at up to 9 days per calendar year.
