We’re looking for an experienced sales team leader to join our Hong Kong team to expand our global business development efforts. This role will be responsible for the growth and monetisation of our verticals (Autos/Property/Services). If you enjoy new challenges and passionate about the E-commerce industry then read on!
Internal Job Title: Sales Manager
You Will:
- Lead the Vertical Sales team to drive sales in the vertical categories (Auto, Property & Services);
- Achieve team & individual sales & revenue budget in the assigned territory;
- Acquire new merchants as well as upsell/ cross-sell existing merchants;
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with merchants;
- Drive revenue growth within the vertical categories;
- Monitor and identify opportunities for growth;
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver organizational results;
- Coach team members to use their strengths and develop their potential
You Have:
- 8 years+ of sales experiences in client-facing, sales and partner development experience;
- Proven track record in identifying new opportunities and closing deals with small and large companies with a solution-based approach for clients;
- Strong and in depth understanding of online business, ad tech, marketplace, e-commerce and/or classifieds;
- Have a good understanding of at least one of the vertical categories (Auto/Property/Services);
- Have excellent project management skills and strong business acumen;
- Have a good understanding of how to run and measure performance with relevant KPIs;
- Have exceptional communication skills and an ability to build excellent rapport with strategic decision makers;
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders;
- Have people management experience is a plus;
- Excellent command of English and Chinese (Cantonese is required but Mandarin is bonus in written and spoken); and
- Experience working in startup-like environments. Marketplace, classifieds or e-commerce industry experience is a plus.
