Job Description

The Retail Marketing Project Manager will be integral to the retail arm of our business by coordinating ISM projects that will serve to influence shopper behavior and stimulate demand.

They will interface with internal and external stakeholders to lead the coordination, execution, and performance tracking of all retail customer programs, ensuring that all in-store projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget for UK retail. 

About the Team

The Retail Marketing Team is a critical function that drives Harry's brand strategy and growth within our mass retail partners. Retail Marketing is the connective tissue between Retail and Brand and our team is charged with protecting brand amidst commercial pressures. Our team is responsible for all customer development activities at each retailer, cultivating relationships across all functions – merchandising, Marketing, Operations and Store execution.  As Harry’s continues to develop as a Men’s Care brand, mass retail will be the primary driver of future growth and expansion for the company. You will sit as part of the broader Brand Team in the Harry’s London HQ but interface daily with Retail, Sourcing and Supply Chain in the UK + in the US. 

Here’s what you’ll accomplish: Internal / External: 80 / 20*

    • Deliver against annual retail marketing objectives by project managing in-store activity plans with a focus on driving productivity and quality and on time delivery. 
    • Manage the end-to-end design queue for all “go-to-market” projects across Harry’s.  Includes in-store merchandising, packaging, and promotional tools. Accountable for inspecting and editing final deliverables for accuracy, quality and adherence to brand specifications.
    • Keep the Retail marketing team on track with projects from start to finish.
      • Manage resource calendar to ensure projects are developed in line with pre-agreed timings.
      • Own ISM tracker inputs and all retailer ISM with Sourcing. 
      • Help coordinate creative deliverables
      • Be the go to for process related ISM development queries from UK, NL + CA side.
    • Facilitate weekly cross-functional project management meetings and act as a liaison across all Harry’s cross-functional partners including design, brand, supply chain, and 3rd party suppliers to collect feedback and relay project updates to the retail team in a timely and fact-based manner.
    • Track program budgets, expenses and campaign response with focus on ROI and future efficiency improvements with sourcing counterpart.
    • Coordinate monthly ROI reporting session.
    • Own standardized templates + resources.
    • Owns timely update and accuracy of ISM drives.
    • Owns Retailer Guidelines & Requirements bank
    • PM on specific projects (i.e. Xmas/Pride at Retail).

This might describe you:

  • An effective communicator used to managing stakeholders in different functions across the business.
    • 1-3 years in an project management capacity or X-functional job in a mid-sized company or a management training program
    • FMCG experience is a plus.
    • Experienced at managing multiple work streams in a fast-paced and challenging environment with the ability to shift priorities to meet rapidly evolving business needs
    • Ability to collaborate and drive cross-functional consensus with a global team
    • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion, and operate with limited oversight
    • An eagerness to learn and tackle any issue that may arise
    • Organized, detail oriented and process oriented; a “no task too small” mentality
    • Positive outlook + Solution oriented.
    • Some knowledge of instore landscape in the UK.

  • Reporting to the Senior Retail Marketing Manager of Shopper Marketing, working closely with the Retail Team
  • You will work most closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Design, Creative, and external retail contacts.
