Job Description

We’re looking for an accomplished, product-focused business leader to head up the product marketing organization for Facebook Reality Labs (FRL). Facebook Reality Lab’s portfolio of products includes the hardware and software for VR (Oculus), AR, XR (cross-portfolio technologies), and Home (Portal). This leader will drive customer-centric business decisions with product leadership teams (Product Management, Engineering, Design) and across functions (Analytics, Growth, Marketing, Sales, Public Relations, Partnerships, Legal, Privacy, Policy and Finance). Our ideal candidate possesses sharp “go-to-market” instincts, learned from years of applying strategy to emerging consumer products. They excel at clearly communicating consumer and commercial needs, are skilled at expressing the unique value a product provides, and have a proven ability to build, support, and inspire a high-performing product marketing team to do the best work of their careers.
Vice President, Product Marketing (Facebook Reality Labs) Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a team of more than 70 product marketers, including directors and managers, ensuring alignment between individual’s strengths and business needs
  • Drive customer-focused thinking and planning for each of the product pillars, while simultaneously threading priorities for the overall Facebook Reality Labs vision
  • Partner with product leadership to influence product and business strategy with a view of customer needs and market opportunities
  • Lead across business functions to drive global go-to-market (GTM) strategies and processes for each product pillar (AR, VR, XR, Home)
  • Partner with product leadership and business functions in growing market opportunities of today, while also developing long-term strategies and multi-year plans to achieve our vision for the future
  • Model inclusive behaviors and build a diverse organization that values, respects, and taps into different backgrounds and perspectives
Minimum Qualifications
  • 18+ years of experience with consumer technologies, products and markets
  • 12+ years of experience with team leadership, people management and cross-functional team leadership
  • Experience in team transformation and change management while driving day-to-day execution
  • Experience building partnerships with Product Management and cross-functional teams, and shaping multi-year product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
  • Leadership experience in a global role and knowledge of diverse cultural, social and business landscapes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience launching a consumer hardware product
