Job Description

Mad Street Den ® is looking for customer-focused Technical Consultants / Solution Architects with at least 5-8 years of relevant experience who can understand, integrate, and solution enterprise-level SaaS products for our customers. An ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for customers along with strong communication and relationship-building skills to recognize customers' needs and to craft solutions. 

Skills we need:

  • Our Solutions Architect is responsible for delivering the technical win and product fit for our customers. They build customer trust in Mad Street Den solutions, which results in customer success in the post-sale. The Solution Architect leads the technical pre-sales relationship, proposes technical architectures, demonstrates the product, anticipates concerns, and offers creative solutions.
  • Solutions Architect role is both highly technical and a skilled relationship builder. They are comfortable demonstrating our solutions to a CEO or sketching outflow on a whiteboard with technical decision-makers. They utilize their technical background to lead the consultative discovery of the customer’s business goals, objectives, and challenges and to translate them into effective technology solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the product use cases and mapping them to the business goals of the customers to drive value
  • Clear capability to articulate larger business strategy and goals of the products and develop solutions for the customers
  • Experience working with customers (or internal business owners) and their teams to understand their core needs and feed the inputs back to the engineering and product teams to configure our offerings to match the customer’s goals
  • Ability to learn-on-the-job and work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Nice to have: Retail systems experience with handling integrations with e-commerce companies and/or platforms like Magento / Shopify / SAP - Hybris / Salesforce Commerce Cloud


  • 7+ years of experience serving in the capacity of a Technical Sales Engineer in a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment, or equivalent
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in technology delivery, pre-sales functions, or business analysts Experience in a Consulting/Architecture position within a software and/or services company (preferably from the B2B enterprise domain)
  • Working knowledge of APIs and with tools like Postman / Apiary / Swagger to explore and identify functional areas of integration with products
  • Functional knowledge of tech stacks of popular cloud-based SaaS products (to be able to propose solution approaches)
  • Proficiency in identifying and troubleshooting technical integration issues across the spectrum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to understand and translate customer requirements into product requirements
  • Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the customer’s business goals and challenges to ensure proper translation of the customer’s needs into desired outcomes.
