Job Description
We are looking for candidates who can help us build, scale and innovate as we develop our industry leading platform for access control and office automation. Strong analytical and software skills are a must in order to join our team, and we are particularly seeking candidates with experience and skills in multiple technologies, in order to contribute broadly to our team-centric approach to product development.
What you'll do and more...
- Develop software for the cross-platform mobile applications (React Native) that power our end users’ and administrators’ interactions with our physical access control systems
- Develop within native modules in iOS/Swift and/or Android/Java depending on skillset
- Work with product + engineering team to guide overall system architecture + design, particularly to help ensure that operational needs (deployability, maintainability, monitoring, troubleshooting) are accounted for
- Contribute as other skills allow within our fast-paced environment and evolving product portfolio
- Help with care and feeding of our products + services - take a holistic view of how our architecture functions in production, share responsibility for the quality and reliability of the entire system
What skills and experience do you bring?
- Must have software development experience in native React Native mobile application development, and preferably also experience with native iOS/Swift and/or Android/Java.
- Must have experience developing API-backed mobile applications. Prefer experience with Bluetooth/BLE development in mobile applicationsPrefer experience with IoT architectures and data protocols like MQTTPrefer experience with mobile SDK(s) for cloud services, such as AWS/IoT, AWS/CloudWatch, Datadog, SentryIO, or other monitoring servicesExperience with agile methodologies and rapid iteration cycles
