Job Description
TrapX is a leader in the cybersecurity space, pioneering a unique strategy which Gartner calls a paradigm shift to a “Right Data” approach. We’re looking for a proven, Singapore-based sales leader to take our APAC presence to the next level. Our ideal candidate is a creative and driven leader, with a “can do” attitude and specific experience in the cybersecurity market. As the owner of our business in the region, you will be responsible for building our market presence, managing strategic customer engagements in multiple verticals, and cultivating successful partner/channel relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own complete responsibility for sales targets in APAC
- Hands-on management and execution of all aspects of APAC sales, including ownership of sales planning, performance metrics, forecasting and reporting for the territory
- Manage, recruit, and oversee regional Channel partners and their efforts with the goal of expanding partner-led sales
- Develop new strategic business opportunities and expand into additional markets
- Lead strategic planning and development of the APAC territory, working with all cross-functional business units within TrapX to assure a common go-to-market strategy
- Work closely with Marketing to optimize and support lead generation, and build and report on pipeline development
- Interact with members of the Product, Support & Customer Success teams to ensure customer requirements are met
- Become the ambassador for TrapX customers, prospects, and influencers in APAC
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of successful cross-country experience selling to the APAC market, including S. Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, and additional countries
- 5+ years Cybersecurity sales experience required
- Start-up experience required
- A true hunter who is driven by the win and the joy of providing bleeding-edge solutions to new customers; pride in your ability to close new business
- Proficiency and a proven track record in building a comprehensive, go-to-market strategy and sales plan that has exceeded plan goals
- A successful track record of building mindshare and market share via the Channel
- Successful experience and desire to cover full sales cycle from setting targets, to lead generation, qualification, fulfillment, and closing/procurement
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com and InsightSquared for sales metrics and reporting
