We’re Melio, a TLV-based startup on a mission to keep small businesses in business. Our online payment solution enables small businesses in the US to pay their bills in more efficient ways that improve their finances and free them up to focus more on managing the business they love.
Backed by top-tier VCs, we have a unique approach to small business payments and aim to make B2B payments as simple and easy as peer-to-peer payment apps. We’re growing fast and looking for enthusiastic team players.
As a DBA at Melio you will join a diversified group consisting of Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Software Engineers. You will work on data pipelines varying from user events to enrich user properties and implement both infrastructure and serving. You will own a key area of Melio, responsible for collecting, integrating and serving all aspects of data used internally for the business to keep growing .
How you’ll make an impact
You will be responsible for all aspects of internal data pipelines in the company: how to store every type of information, how to load and transfer the data and what technology to use. Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
You will research, design, create and maintain the infrastructure for real-time streaming analytics, big data analytics, and machine learning analytics capabilities - deciding how the future of big data will look like at Melio!
What we’d love to see
- +6 years of experience in engineering roles.
- Experience integrating at least one Big-Data KeyValue store
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Proactive team player with a desire to impact our team, our product and our customers.
- Be a source of technical knowledge and experience, facilitating, building and mentoring great technical decisions
