Project Manager - Long Beach or Phoenix
Cargomatic is seeking a dedicated and strategic individual to join our growing company as a Project Manager. The responsibilities of the Project Manager include leading, developing, executing, and managing projects from ideation to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for defining standards, providing guidance on policies and processes, executing tasks, and organizing and overseeing project collaborators. The ideal Project Manager will demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate with Cargomatic’s department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects
- Plan project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables
- Analyze financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation
- Provide financial reports and budget outlines to Executives
- Oversee the development of each project and ensure that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently
- Design, implement, and continuously improve existing project management office (PMO) policies and processes
- Continuously evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting Cargomatic’s standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines
- Accurately document each project’s creation, development, and execution, including project scope, budget, and justification
What You’ll Need
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or equivalent education (i.e Master’s degree)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience working in the SaaS/technology or logistics industry required
- Project Management Certification required
- Lean Six Sigma Certification required
- Excellent leader, communicator and collaborator; ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and self-driven
- Ability to foresee and analyze project risks and develop risk management plans
- Creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Ability to navigate in ambiguity
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and G-Suite
