The Role:
This role will be key in taking Product Manager feedback from clients, drafting architectural guidelines, scoping the work, sharing timeline guidelines, working closely with the Architect.
As a Staff Full-Stack engineer at Noteworth, you will make our platform more accessible for patients and healthcare organizations by helping to shape and define Noteworth’s Clinician Interface. Your responsibilities will include developing back-end and front-end components of Noteworth’s web application, and working with our Engineering and Product team to define and implement robust features.

What you’ll do...
• Drive initiatives on the team for new product features and architecture improvements
• Act as a bridge between Product and Engineering by gaining a deep understanding of business needs and communicating them to the team
• Design scalable and secure solutions in collaboration with team members and architecture as well as facilitating solution delivery to production
• Participate in the overall system design and architectureConduct and lead code reviews
• Write automated tests to ensure API and platform stability and maintainability
• Work with interdepartmental teams (Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Mobile App Teams)
• Provide guidance, technical leadership, and mentorship for your team OR Mentor junior engineers on software engineering techniques, process, and new technologies
• Defining a solid approach for new features by consulting the main architect in order to give a clear path for the assigned engineers
• Invest time for learning our current platform to provide solutions that will fit our styles when possible
• Define timeline for each new feature that will arrive by working closely with the rest of the engineers
• To be available for the rest of the engineers in order to make sure that the solution is going in the direction that was planned
• To have a solid communication with the product managers in general. Some important cases could be delays, missing definitions, and more
• Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
Who you are...
• 6+ years developing and deploying backend APIs or full stack applications
• 2+ years of experience with modern web application development
• Excited about making a difference in healthcare with technology
• Passionate about contributing to an empowering culture of learning, teaching and personal growth
• Experienced in back-end development using Python and Django
• Deep knowledge of API architecture development
• Experienced in front-end development with Javascript and web frameworks like React
• Experience in documenting requirements and specifications
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Hands on experience with automated system provisioning, ideally using Ansible
• Knowledge of development best practices (agile methodologies, code reviews, and testing frameworks)
• Experienced using GIT, JIRA, build systems (Webpack)
