Job Description

SmartAsset is looking for a Senior Analyst, Revenue Operations to join our Marketing & Revenue Operations team. An ideal candidate is self-motivated, independent, has a keen attention to detail and expert-level analytical skills and has a background in finance, consulting or accounting and quantitative analysis.   • Manage a portfolio of client budgets, maximize delivery of budgets, improve margin of business, and manage client KPIs
  • Work with Ad Ops, Sales, Product and BizDev to traffic advertising campaigns
    • setup campaigns (rate / copy / targeting changes, pricing adjustments, pause and resume campaigns, etc.)
    • make operational improvements to process
  • Own and manage a range of revenue and yield optimization reporting:
    • collaborate with data engineering to ensure accuracy
    • innovate to improve visibility and ultimately increase yield on our suite of personal finance tools
    • develop robust revenue related models using Python and SQL
  • Implement and report on yield optimization tests across SmartAsset and Captivate
  • Report on status of financial products business to senior leadership regularly
  • Learn the overall business model and be prepared to wear multiple hats


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative, analytical, or technical field
  • 1-3 years experience in finance, ad/revenue operations, consulting or data analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups, Macros, Visualizations)
  • Experienced with Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, etc.) and writing SQL
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives
  • Effective in an unstructured environment with competing priorities that requires new perspectives and creative approaches
  • Inquisitive and analytical mind, strong disposition to learn, and an exceptional team player
  • Experience with BI tools such as Mixpanel or Tableau a plus
  • Experience in digital marketing a plus
