Censys ingests millions of certificates and billions of network handshakes daily and exposes this data to customers to help them secure their organization by understanding their network attack surface. We’re looking for our second Integrations Engineer! In this role, you’ll be responsible for working with customers across a variety of industries and a variety of tools to better understand their workflows and determine what integrations are important to them. In collaboration with our engineering and product teams, you’ll then lead the building of these integrations. This position will also help develop and maintain some of our most popular open-source projects - like the Censys Command-line tool and the Censys Maltego Integrations.
The best person for this role will have a skill set that includes extensive programming experience, working in cloud environments, and led rapid prototyping previously. You will have held a role as a Solutions Engineer for a SaaS-based product, and have experience working closely with customer success and/or product management functions.
What you’ll do:
- Work directly with customers to develop custom integrations
- Assist customers with troubleshooting integrations and applications
- Be customer #1 for our engineering team
- Work on open-source projects and libraries
- Rapidly develop PoC projects on behalf of customers
- Work across Censys teams to create functional documentation for each integration
What you’ll bring:
- 3-5 years of experience programming in a language like Go or Python, for example
- Working knowledge of security products and the information security industry
- A burning desire to work with really great customers and build easy to use applications/integrations
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Solid organization skills
- A resourceful, figure-it-out and we-can-do-this attitude
