The People Support team provides Onboarding, Benefit, and Employee Relations support to our business and clinical colleagues across the organization.  The team works in close collaboration with our regional leadership, as well as teams like Payroll, Recruiting, Accounting and Legal. About the Role

The Director, People Support is a senior Human Resources leader, who leads teams to support the mission of the People Support department.  By building strong teams this leader will instill confidence in our colleagues, increase colleague engagement and trust with every interaction and create efficient and measurable processes for the People Support Teams. This leader will be focused on the complete colleague experience beginning with onboarding.

With multiple business lines and a geographically diverse areas, you will need to build a unified multi-location People Support Services team capable of supporting the organization’s rapid progression.

Key areas of responsibility will include onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management.  You will lead a team of professionals across locations.

In this role you will:

  • Oversee teams of key People Support functions and define and implement organizational policies, including human resources.
  • Drive the development and execution of service level agreement (SLA’s) across the organization, through proactive leadership.  Instill confidence in these SLA’s with your team and our internal customers
  • Create and develop high performing teams of engaged colleagues
  • Remain current on trends and laws/regulations, ensuring the organization's policies and programs conform to applicable laws.
  • Use systems to better understand trends and provide reporting to various groups through the colleague lifecycle
  • Initiate improvement to colleague experiences and processes
  • Successful cross-functional partnership with internal teams such as payroll, accounting and legal

Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required. Master’s degree in relevant filed is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state laws.

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of human resources experience, 5 years in a leadership role.
  • HR leadership experience in a fast-growing technology, media, or healthcare services organization
  • Experience leveraging HRIS (Ultimate), CMS (Sales Force) and performance management (Cornerstone) systems to achieve goals

Other Details:

  • Indoor office environment within a hospital
  • Travel required: 25%
  • Sitting at desk for up to eight hours (w/breaks)
  • Working on computer for up to eight hours (w/breaks)
  • Moving/lifting file boxes (up to 25 lbs.)
