Overview
 
Come be a part of a team of designers passionate about creating beautiful and inspiring design experiences for a multi-platform home fitness product. As a Growth Marketing Design Lead at Tonal, you will be a part of the larger design team working on creative solutions for Tonal’s marketing efforts. Your work will tell our story and help refine the Tonal brand across the digital and physical world. 
 
You will be working within the Tonal Creative Team, driving innovation and company growth at the intersection of technology, data, creative and marketing. You will be responsible for driving conversion by finding new and creative ways of delivering value messaging to customers. Leading system-wide design thinking to find new levers that can be pulled to unlock growth. This means working on segmented design strategies, user experience flows and targeted paid ads but it also means partnering with other designers to fine tune and improve experience and to incrementally increase engagement.
 
An ideal candidate for this role thinks in experiments and is fueled by curiosity. Undaunted to try 99 failed experiments for the chance of that one monumental success. Combining creative problem solving with a methodical and results focused approach to design thinking while always protecting the visual integrity of the brand.  
 
This role will be to partner closely with our growth marketers, designers, and product managers to thoughtfully design and execute a variety of digital experiences that help convert prospects to customers. You’ll be part of an important stage of our customer experience and be involved in the beginning of our members’ journey - from education, conversion, and onboarding.
 
What You'll Do
 
- Conceptualize and build beautiful brand experiences that push the Tonal brand identity into the future across digital, social, and other content development
- Create multiple design prototypes for testing and maximize performance
- Be data-driven when it comes to design. Convert quantitative and qualitative data into design deliverables, including optimized landing pages and user funnels
- Concept and create assets for all digital mediums from comps to campaigns, motion storyboards, prototypes and A/B tests
- Work collaboratively with internal and external designers, illustrators, motion designers, project leads, front-end engineers, photographers, and vendors
- Balance a workload of multiple projects from concept to completion
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to present compelling, immersive stories
- Work with the Growth Marketing team to analyze ad-level performance, record learnings, and iterate future ad assets accordingly
- Be data-driven when it comes to design. Convert quantitative and qualitative data into design deliverables, including optimized landing pages and user funnels
 
Who You Are
 
- 4-5 years of data driven design experience (product design or growth marketing)
- An interest in human psychology and an understanding of user motivation and subconscious bias
- A highly polished visual portfolio of design work that spans design disciplines
- Up-to-date with all current design technologies and web standards (including the ability to work in Figma)
- Experience working on responsive web design and collaborating with front end engineers
- Experience designing for mobile, responsive design
- Ability to balance business goals, timelines, and creative process 
- Skilled in presentation, receptive to feedback, and confidently communicates ideas effectively across all levels of the organization
- Understanding of growth channels, targeting and iterative creative testing
- Must be a self-motivated and positive person that collaborates well with others
- Have a growth mindset; continue to iterate on ideas and know that our work is never done
- Extremely curious, open to the unexpected and a thought leader
