Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Business Developer to join the Pie JP team. In this role, you will be a founding member of the Japan team. Our team’s mission is to create an ecosystem that connects stores and tourists, enabling easier and frictionless tax free processing while equipping stores with better analytics and tools to increase their sales. You will work closely with our global Product, Sales, and Engineering teams as you evaluate and push partnerships in Japan.
What you'll be working on:
- Sales & Development - Add to our customer portfolio by visiting, engaging, and onboarding new store partners
- Provide important feedback on our products through your first hand experiences from partners and customers
- Manage and lead partnership discussion with small, medium, and large enterprises
Requirements:
- 6+ years of sales/business development experience
- Partnerships experience (with retail partners) & retail experience (networks/connections)
- You are eager to learn and are able to thrive in a fast-paced changing environment
- Must speak Japanese and English at a professional level
- Hunter mentality - aggressive and goals oriented
Bonus (Good to have):
- Fintech/payments experience or experience in e-commerce
- Interest and experience working within the technology industry/start-up environment in tourism/retail
