WorkBoard created an entirely new solution category to address line of business leaders’ most pressing problem: driving smart, fast growth. Large enterprises like Cisco, Reliance Industries, Microsoft, Samsung, Deutsche Telekom, GE, Cision, and fast-growth companies like Go1, Zuora, Malwarebytes and others use WorkBoard’s Strategy & Results platform to align, measure and drive their strategic priorities and fuel faster growth.  

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Solution Consultant, you’ll be a key player in driving the adoption of WorkBoard by supporting the pre-sales engagements with our existing and prospective enterprise customers.  You’ll support our sales organization in building trusted advisor status with business leaders who have strategic priorities and urgency to achieve them while positioning and driving preference for our platform. 

 Your work will also include collaborating with the leadership team to identify demand generation, messaging, sales enablement and sales execution best practices.  Additionally, you will be working with product marketing, product management, client services and customer success leadership to provide valuable insights from customer engagements that will influence our product roadmap and how we help our customers achieve a sustainable growth advantage.

COMING IN 

  • Bring 5+ years of business or management consulting experience (from Accenture, Deloitte, Bain, McKinsey, etc.) working in fast paced environments where you had direct access to leadership. 
  • An entrepreneurs mindset, an appetite for learning and motivation to solve complex problems.  
  • A business degree from a great school (MBA is a plus). 
  • You are genuine, warm, positive, empathetic, and engaging and a self-starter with strong ownership skills and are willing to go above and beyond the job description.
  • You have presented to executive teams with confidence and clarity 

YOU'LL BE SUPER SKILLED AND EFFECTIVE AT

  • Understanding the challenges that leaders face in either fast paced start-ups or slow growth large enterprises
  • Quickly building trusted advisor status with CEOs and P&L owners by demonstrating your business acumen, intellectual curiosity and passion for solving substantive business issues
  • Partner with account executives to grow our business with new and existing customers
  • Working at a fast pace while demonstrating professionalism and the attention to detail that is required to support sales engagements with CEOs and GMs
  • Partnering with peer teams across product marketing, professional services, customer success and development to build a company that is great in your customers’ eyes

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU'LL:

  • Attend new-hire immersion training and be certified as a Workboard OKR Coach and app expert to build a deep understanding of our buyer, their pain points, our methodology and how we work as a team
  • Deep-dive with Growth, Sales, Product Management, and Customer Success teams to learn more about our solution, go to market and roadmap and the partnership with the Services team
  • Dazzle a WorkBoard expert with your enthusiastic demo 
  • Own the demonstration environment and be a WorkBoard product expert
  • Read and understand all of the sales tools including our value frameworks and competitive analyses
  • Confidently articulate the value, benefits and relevance of our powerful solution easily and effectively  
  • Be a daily user of WorkBoard and SFDC to help drive rocket ship growth

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU'LL:

  • Shadowed at least 6 OKR Workshops with our Client Services team and facilitate 6 OKR workshops 
  • Be completely fluent in delivering demonstrations that reflect your prospect’s process and business starting point and show them a path to value realization
  • Both demonstrate and narrate the solution experience (process and platform) to P&L owners (CEOs and GMs) and stakeholders such as chief of staff, business innovation experts, and heads of HR in a way that speaks to their unique role in the decision to choose WorkBoard
  • Manage demo data integrity so it provides a compelling vision of the solution’s impact; build 2 additional vertical industry demos that are most relevant to prospects based on their industry
  • Complete first pass on information security questionnaires and requirements statements from customers
  • Working with Client Services, prepare value roadmaps and launch plans for sales proposals
  • Understand the competitive landscape and WorkBoard’s differentiation

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU'LL:

  • Advise customers on excellent OKRs and brainstorm with them on how to articulate them, share insights on how others in their industry, functions and role measure great outcomes on a particular aspect of the business
  • Lead at least 15 OKR workshops with our Client Services team
  • Expertly demonstrate our solution during the sales process in ways that show its advantages and underscore the disadvantages of competing solutions
  • Independently customize demo data sets and demonstrations to prospective customers when needed
  • Maintain a competitive grid and be the sales expert on differentiating WorkBoard’s value from alternatives (including do nothing)
