Job Description

Yottaa is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our fast-growing software company. You'll be responsible for leading the growth of Yottaa’s security offerings. Leading the product vision, strategy, development, sales enablement, and execution are all elements of the role.  The right person will have product management experience, security software experience, and a high level of general business acumen, as well as the ability to work exceptionally well with internal stakeholders, evangelizing the vision and strategy throughout the organization. If you are motivated by leading the growth of new businesses, building exceptionally innovative technology, and protecting the world’s best-known ecommerce sites, then you have found the right place.

Your Role

  • Develop the strategy and guide the success of our security products initiative, particularly informed by your engagement with customers, prospects, and the ecosystem
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement GTM (go-to-market) strategy that accelerates product penetration and sales growth
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and work with engineering teams to build, launch, and make our customers successful
  • Support senior team members in developing, implementing, and tracking project plans
  • Be the subject matter expert and evangelist for Yottaa’s security products/technologies, internally and externally. Build organizational expertise around security product capabilities and customer use cases
  • Identify and define the key value drivers which differentiate Yottaa offerings in the market. Partner with the Customer Success and Marketing teams to identify opportunities to improve our products based on customer feedback and quantify value
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, and Product Management to implement changes in existing products that positively impact the customer’s experience and to drive new products that are high quality and low risk
  • Instill a focus on quality in the product culture by creating objective data driven stories that influence and convince product teams to prioritize quality projects
  • Evangelize security knowledge and insights: manage communications with your stakeholders and other teams, collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues to complete security projects and ensure all parties can use the insights to further improve.
  • Maintain a customer-centric focus: strive to be a domain and product expert through data, develop trust amongst your peers and stakeholders, and ensure that your team has access to data to make decisions
  • Influence new UX design

Knowledge and Experience

  • Over 5 years of product management or related experience at fast growing technology companies and at least 2 years of internet security technology experience
  • Knowledge of website security including WAF, DOS, Bot Mitigation and analytics tools
  • Demonstrated track record of success in the full lifecycle of product management: product vision and roadmaps, writing exceptional MRDs/PRDs, Epics/Stories and shipping high-visibility and complex products
  • Ability to articulate and communicate with customers, partners and internal teams
  • Experience leveraging raw customer feedback to develop new initiatives
  • Experience creating business plans and the supporting business analysis
  • Experience constructing interpersonal relationships across teams, communicating technical content and analytical insights to multiple audiences
  • Self-starter who has enhanced existing product lines and brought new products to market
  • Ability to proactively manage and own customer requirements from start to finish
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and analysis skills
  • High work and business ethics, including strong attention to detail
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with analyst relations (Gartner, Forrester, etc.) is a plus
