What you will be doing:

  • Develop autonomous building control software
  • Evolve methods and algorithms for managing physics-based digital twins
  • Develop infrastructure for a distributed edge-based AI engine
  • Develop I/O services, digital twin translation and semantic interfaces
  • Build scalable micro-services and highly reliable product features
  • Create and maintain code and engineering process documentation
  • Grow subject matter expertise in programming, product, and platform

You must have

  • 5+ and B.S. in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong systems/applications programming skills (e.g. C++, C, Swift, Rust, etc)
  • Experience with several programming paradigms, such as object-oriented, functional, data-driven, protocol oriented, and/or reactive programming
  • Expertise resolving ambiguity in design requirements
  • Ability to contribute individually, architecturally, and in group/pair programming
  • Experience in data modeling, design patterns, and software architecture
  • Test-driven development practices
  • Solid understanding of the full development life cycle

You should have 

  • Swift language experience
  • Parallel computing experience (pthreads, GCD)
  • Embedded systems programming, and reliable systems design
  • Network protocols, messaging, and data exchange
  • Simulation methods, physical modeling, or statistical analysis
  • Relational database design experience
  • Linux experience, ideally in limited resource environments

It’s helpful to have

  • Xcode, Instruments, and XCTest Experience
  • Familiarity with Linux target environments
  • Heuristic methods, AI, and Machine Learning experience
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, YugaByte, etc)
  • Experience with reactive and data-driven system architectures
  • Interest in building automation, energy systems, and electro-mechanical systems
