We’re looking for a VP of Product to join us here at GWI. Not just any VP of Product though. Someone ambitious and genuine, who works best in the midst of a collaborative and forward-thinking team. About the job

Product is at the heart of the value that GlobalWebIndex gives to users. Across the product suite we cover everything from the data entering the system, to processing, to the visualisation of the data that the users interact with, to back office systems to manage the users. This is a mixture of internal and external users.

The product team’s job is to get to the heart of any user’s problem and work with engineering, data science and product design to find and deliver innovative and valuable solutions. GlobalWebIndex is looking for a world class product leader to oversea the vast product landscape and drive market-defining growth in the next phase of the company’s journey.

You will develop close working relationships with our stellar list of clients, which spans the world’s largest advertising agencies such as Ogilvy and McCann Erickson, media organisations such as Spotify and Snapchat, brands like Electronic Arts and Porsche and sports franchises including the NBA and FC Barcelona.

This role is based in London, alongside the majority of the product management team, and will involve some travel to our New York and West Coast US offices to interface with the wider company and client base, as well as Prague and Athens to spend time with engineers and data science teams.

You have to be a sparkling evangelist for the team and their work, and crucially ensure that everyone is excited about the roadmap - internal and external. Communication is key here and you will be responsible for making sure that the exciting, but seismic, shifts that are happening in the product are broadcast loud and clear across a variety of stakeholders. You will be responsible for collaborating and delivering on the vision and strategy for 2022 and beyond.

Key responsibilities include:

    Hire, lead and mentor a product team; from seasoned professionals to enthusiastic career-changers
    Work with the company leadership to actualise a product strategy that significantly grows our client base
    Set clear objectives for your teams to review regularly
    Deliver a clear and comprehensive roadmap that the whole company can champion
    Be in constant conversation with users, optimise on ways to get the best user feedback and embed it at the heart of company decision making

About you:

    A real love for users and how to mitigate their pain points
    An obsession with collaboration, and experience in building collaborative strategy
