Job Description


  • Follow time-sensitive, market-moving issues and generate actionable ideas
  • Interpret data and create charts that effectively communicate research data
  • Transitioning macro forecasting tools out of Excel into future-proof states
  • Developing and back testing additional frameworks
  • Assisting with day-to-day management of the business, must be okay with some administrative level work
  • May publish sector research
  • Participating in industry events and conference calls
  • Performing extensive financial modeling, which may involve designing and building new models
  • Provides content for all of Hedgeye’s digital media offerings including web, mobile, video and audio
  • Support client requests
  • Gathering, reviewing, and analyzing corporate financial statements, earnings releases, news, as well as other pertinent industry information and database maintenance
  • Writing value-added, real-time research; and responsible for maintenance research


  • Able to process and calculate large amounts of industry data.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skill and social media platforms required
  • Intermediate Python and/or R
  • Experience with machine learning tools like TensorFlow
  • Able to interpret and isolate key content points and chart the associated data
  • Analytical thinker that can confidently generate new ideas, ‘think outside the box,’ and communicate written and verbal insights/recommendations to internal teams and clients
  • Technical writing
  • A desire to work as a part of a team and grow within the company
  • Demonstrable ambition, professional presence, exceptional organization, and intellectual curiosity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication



  • College graduate; 3.0 GPA or better
  • 2 – 4 years experience
  • Series 65 license will be required
