At C16 Biosciences, we believe that palm oil doesn’t have to be a problem. Our team is building a sustainable and environmentally-friendly alternative to “conflict palm oil,” which relies on tropical rainforest deforestation and emits over 1 billion tons of CO2 into the atmosphere every year. C16 Bio’s technology platform harnesses naturally-occurring biological processes, improved by the latest innovations in strain engineering, fermentation, and low-cost lipid extraction to produce a better kind of palm oil.
THE CHALLENGE
C16 Biosciences is on a rapid growth trajectory. Our team has doubled in size since the beginning of 2020, when we closed a successful $20M Series A round to commercialize a new green alternative to palm oil. As the team grows, we seek to design and implement scalable, repeatable processes and structures to accelerate C16's growth and make C16 Bio an even more rewarding and dynamic place to work.
THE OPPORTUNITY
C16 Biosciences is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, collaborative, and empathetic individual to manage C16's day-to-day operations and lead C16's recruiting and people management functions. In this critical role, you will be responsible for assisting the CEO and other company leaders with the smooth functioning of the company's operations.
