Datavant is growing quickly -- VERY quickly, and we’re looking for a member to join our Product Management team.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of a particular area of the product and become an expert in the use cases / value, features / capabilities, and forward looking vision / roadmap.
Gather information from clients, client-facing teams and engineering to make informed decisions related to your product area. Clearly present findings with options, trade-offs, analysis and your own recommendation(s).
Support development of product requirements to ensure quality products, with strong documentation of those requirements in living documents. Be a driver of discussions and decision making, bring others along with you
Develop product roadmap and product strategy to ensure strong product:market fit for your product area
Management of the scope, planning, execution, and communications of special projects
Help keep the Product team running smoothly

Qualifications

You have a minimum of 3-5 years in an engineering, product, or technical role for a software or data analytics group
You have led and delivered projects -- you’re known for strong organizational and project management skills.
You have high bandwidth and high productivity – you are noted for your ability to simultaneously manage multiple topics
You are a very clear writer and have experience creating technical documentation and workflow diagrams
You are a great communicator and have the confidence to lead planning meetings with engineering staff, and the ability to present concepts and timelines to sales staff and clients

You work hard – you’re best working at full speed and engaging on difficult problems
You’re highly organized – you are systematic, don’t drop tasks and document your progress
You are motivated by getting stuff done - you see and understand the big picture and know how to contribute to it by delivering new features, projects and value month by month
You are a team player – you are smart, nice and low ego. You enjoy working smoothly with peers and support teammates to ensure growth and success of the entire company. You are able to put yourself in other’s positions and understand their motivations, needs, perspectives and potential points of confusion.
