Skills/Experience:
- BCBA Certification
- Minimum five years experience in the ABA field working with individuals with autism
- Experience leading, inspiring, and managing clinical teams with proven track record of success
- Results-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational skills; able to effectively prioritize and delegate tasks
- Strategic thinker, proactive, adept at problem-solving
- Outstanding relationship-building and communication skills
Key responsibilities:
- Manage BCBA staff and regional team, providing direction and inspiring leadership that represents Gateway’s core values
- Maintain a billable productivity margin, driving regional revenue to meet quarterly targets
- Lead client/payer/staff outreach and engagement in order to establish professional relationships, ensure client satisfaction, and generate referrals
- Provide clinical leadership by supporting clinicians in developing high quality ABA programming and consulting on complex clinical cases
- Act as point of contact and responsible party for the resolution of regional grievances
- Provide direct clinical services for own client caseload; caseload size varies based on regional growth stage and is set by CEO
- Manage region’s overall client / staff balance
- Manage client waitlist, ensuring maximum retention of client pipeline
- Identify and manage BCBA/BT staffing needs, ensuring that quarterly hiring targets are achieved and that positions are filled with qualified hires
- In collaboration with HR and Senior Management, participate in recruitment, selection, hiring, termination, and coaching of regional staff
- Coordinate region staff caseloads/referrals, training, and productivity management
- Oversee implementation of and adherence to company’s policies and procedures
- Work alongside cross-functional leaders - Revenue Cycle, Contracts/Credentialing, Scheduling, and Client Services - to address region needs and meet goals
- Stay up to date on new research, current trends, and developments in ABA, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and related fields
Basic and Physical Requirements:
- Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic/mobile device functions for data collection, and use a keyboard/computer, printer, fax, copier
- Must be able to receive and act on detailed information through oral & written communication. Apply finger dexterity; good vision, hearing, oral communication & critical thinking on a regular basis
- Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities
- Requires primarily sitting, but also standing and walking during a standard workday
- Driving from client to client and to leadership and various business meetings
- May also require occasional lifting and carrying of 30 pounds or more
