Responsibilities:

• Install, update, and maintain silicon CAD tools from vendors such as Cadence, Mentor, and Synopsys
  • Examples include:
    
    • Fix simvision stability issues
    • Fix vManager installation, so that users can run jobs from different hosts and support full feature set for multiple users
    • Update Xcelium to the latest release
    • Update AFS to the latest release
    • Update Spectre and Virtuoso to the latest release
• Update and maintain revision control tools such as IC Manage
• Support our Silicon Team when they run into tool issues
• Setup a batch simulation platform for analog simulations in AWS such as LSF
• Work directly with our Everactive IT Team, AWS IT Contractor, and CAD vendor AEs
• Create scripts to increase automation and improve design methodology
