Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced business executive to lead the growth and delivery of Doctor On Demand’s expanding Primary Care business unit. Virtual Primary Care is a critical pillar of Doctor On Demand’s broader corporate strategy. This individual will set strategic direction, manage performance against Primary Care P&L and lead the multidisciplinary efforts to deliver exceptional patient experience and strong clinical and financial outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Own Primary Care product strategy to propel DOD’s market leadership: meet and exceed client expectations, drive clinical and financial results, and continue to meet high standards for patient experience (4.9+ star ratings)

  • Build and manage the Primary Care business unit P&L, including setting annual forecast for demand and associated clinical and operational capacity requirements

  • Architect and execute Primary Care strategy, including making build-buy-partner decisions to maintain differentiation, drive growth and expand capabilities

  • Lead overall client delivery and experience for DOD’s Primary Care clients, ensuring clinical and financial outcomes, service level performance and reference ability of strategic accounts

  • Drive growth of the Primary Care business unit by refining the value proposition, messaging, proof points and go-to-market strategy 

  • Refine pricing and scoping at deal and enterprise-wide levels, including developing performance and value-based contracting methodologies

  • Create and oversee innovative patient engagement strategy for business unit designed to recruit new patients to the primary care practice and ensure they experience a holistic, state-of-the-art care experience 

  • Source and build channel partnerships designed to drive demand for DOD’s Primary Care services and expand the reach of our GTM efforts 

  • Serve as an industry thought leader on the subject of primary care: evangelize about industry trends and Doctor On Demand’s role at the forefront of the field in areas such as technology, clinical model and payment methodologies

  • Foster a multi-disciplinary approach to integrated primary care, and integrate evidence-based clinical approaches into our Primary Care and Care Team practice

  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • 20+ years experience in healthcare operations; executive leadership in primary care with P&L responsibility

  • Experience implementing innovative clinical approaches to achieve business results

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross functionally and collaborate with internal stakeholders

  • Entrepreneurial general management experience with building, growing and scaling complex healthcare solutions

  • Bachelor's degree; Masters degree in related field preferred
