Job Description

Fungible is a growth stage startup well-funded by tier 1 VCs and strategic investors and poised to deliver fundamental technology that will revolutionize the economics, security and reliability of data centers at all scales.
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive adoption of Fungible’s solutions at leading cloud service providers, enterprises and OEMs.  The position is a foundational role in the new sales organization.


    • Sales of data center infrastructure solutions at leading cloud service providers, enterprises and OEMs.
    • Identify target customers and engage with them to uncover business opportunities.
    • Develop account relationships with key influencers and executives by uncovering business critical requirements and initiatives and delivering technology insights and solutions.
    • Identify specific use cases, pain points, current solutions and success metrics.
    • Effectively articulate Fungible’s vision and value proposition.
    • Position Fungible solutions and differentiate relative to competitive alternatives.
    • Successfully address customer requirements.
    • Working with product management, develop and present proposals to customers and win identified business opportunities.
    • Secure customer technology evaluations if needed and work with Solution Architects to drive them to success.
    • Coordinate Fungible resources to ensure customer success.
    • Provide input to product management and engineering for product roadmaps.


    • 8+ years of sales/business development experience at cloud service providers, enterprises or OEMs
    • Proven record of maximizing sales performance and growing business.
    • A deep understanding of data center infrastructure (storage, compute, networking, security, etc.) and associated business issues.
    • Experience selling storage, networking and security systems as well as associated software.
    • Thinks strategically about business, products and technical challenges with the ability to build and articulate compelling value propositions.
    • Systematic with a strong action-bias.
    • Demonstrates individual initiative, drive and determination.
    • Works well as part of a cohesive team and actively contributes to a culture of collaboration.
    • Excellent communicator with the ability to engage well across the account hierarchy from technical influencers to C-level executives.
