In this role you will…

        Devise, establish and drive the integration of CRISPR-based mechanistic and functional genomics into target ID, drug discovery and translational sciences
        Translate your expert knowledge of CRISPR knockout and base editing methodologies into data that drives the understanding of molecular machines and discovery of transformational medicines
        Leverage your knowledge of cancer biology to explore the function and mechanism of molecular machines in relevant cellular contexts such as DNA repair or RNA surveillance
        Provide functional genomics technical leadership to scientific and management teams
        Develop and lead a network of innovative genome sciences collaborations, both academic and industrial
        Shape and role model a company culture where science rules the day

About you...

        You are highly skilled in genome editing with current and emerging CRISPR knockout and base editing technologies
        You have hands-on experience of performing and analyzing genome-wide and directed CRISPR screens in cancer systems
        You have a PhD and post-doc in molecular cell biology, oncology or a related discipline
        You love being immersed in an environment characterized by rigorous science and innovative thinking, all with the goal of creating effective medicines that help patients
        You love overcoming scientific obstacles, you are kind and supportive to others, and thrive in a collaborative team
