People Operations Manager at
We are actively looking for a versatile People Operations Manager responsible for overseeing and scaling the HR operations and team in our London HQ as we grew very rapidly.
Reporting to our VP of People Operations and cooperating with a global team on a remote basis, you will be responsible for ensuring that our global HR strategy and processes unroll smoothly locally. This is a great opportunity to get an extensive exposure in every facet of HR while supporting the ambitious expansion plans of a Company which place people at the heart of its success.
The ideal candidate has a high degree of autonomy, excellent interpersonal and organisation skills, the ability to think two steps ahead and a passion for finding great ways to keep employees happy.

About You

    • 6+ years’ successful experience as an HR generalist in a high paced environment, ideally in the Tech industry
    • Strong team management experience
    • Excellent understanding of employment law and legislation in the UK, CIPD qualified highly preferable
    • Tech savvy with a keen interest for anything HR Tech & Systems
    • Process-driven, always looking for ways to optimise the day-to-day
    • Laser focused, with an excellent attention to detail
    • A thought partner who can demonstrate good balance of emotional intelligence with pragmatic judgement
    • Ability to build, nurture relationships and interact with all levels of management
    • Ability to work in a changing environment, comfortable dealing with ambiguity
    • Spirited team player, willing to nurture a unique office culture that we call “home”

What you will be doing

    • Act as HR Business Partner in our London HQ office, owning the day to day People Operations remit locally
    • Manage a team of People Operations specialists in the UK, ensuring our local framework and strategy stay coherent with global initiatives and operations
    • Monitor our core HR processes and policies locally, from planning to reporting, to meet local employment law regulation and requirements
    • Act as a trusted and strategic advisor for your stakeholders in the UK through expert guidance, coaching to managers in all areas of HR and making recommendations to optimise organisational effectiveness
    • Play a critical role by effectively establishing and nurturing relationships with all local staff as well as measuring and monitoring those relationships to determine whether objectives are being met
    • Collaborate with other People leaders across L&D, Recruitment and Culture on the delivery of various global HR initiatives (e.g. Culture and communication, Employer branding, Employee engagement, Talent Management, Learning, Training etc.) locally
    • Provide consistent support to our colleagues, answering employee and manager questions about HR initiatives, policies, benefits and any other HR-related items
